No. At The Recovery Practice, we deeply respect your autonomy and trust in your ability to choose the surgical provider that’s right for you. While we do not refer or recommend specific surgeons, you can feel confident knowing we are highly experienced in collaborating with a wide range of surgical teams. Whether or not your surgeon has worked with us previously, we make every effort to establish prompt, professional communication to ensure a smooth, coordinated recovery experience. We provide licensed RN care within the full legal scope of Arizona registered nursing practice. That means we do not replace your surgeon, diagnose medical problems, or perform services outside RN scope. If a concern needs medical escalation, we coordinate with your surgical team or emergency services as appropriate.

Yes, this is offered with each package. If needed, a nurse can check you in, receive discharge instructions from your surgical team, and help transition you home safely. If you already have a designated person for this you prefer instead you can let us know during the consultation.

Yes. Every nurse at The Recovery Practice is a licensed Registered Nurse in Arizona and works within the legal scope of RN practice. We also operate with patient safety, privacy, and professional standards at the center of everything we do. All nurses are fully insured.

With your permission, we communicate directly with your surgical team to review discharge instructions, clarify care needs, and keep your recovery plan aligned. If something falls outside our nursing scope, we will let you know right away and help guide the next step.
