LIMITATIONS OF SERVICES

Client acknowledges and understands the following:
 

1. Not a Medical Practice. The Recovery Practice provides concierge nursing care and does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or provide physician-level medical services. All clinical decisions outside the scope of registered nursing practice will be referred to the client's surgeon or appropriate medical professional.

1.1  The Recovery Practice is a nurse-led nursing service and all care delivered is within the scope and standards of a Registered Nurse (RN) within the legal boundaries of registered nursing

within the scope of practice authorized by A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15 and 4 A.A.C. 19;
 

2. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care. In the event of a medical emergency, the nurse will contact emergency services (911) immediately. The Recovery Practice does not provide emergency medical treatment and is not a substitute for emergency medical care.
 

3. Surgeon's Orders Govern. All nursing care provided is consistent with and subordinate to the post-operative instructions issued by the client's performing surgeon. The Recovery Practice will not override or contradict a surgeon's clinical orders.
 

4. Service Area. Services are provided within Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, and surrounding areas as agreed upon at time of booking. Services outside the standard service area may be subject to additional fees.
 

5. No Guarantee of Outcomes. The Recovery Practice makes no guarantees regarding surgical outcomes, speed of recovery, or results of any procedure. Nursing care is provided to support the recovery process — outcomes depend on many factors outside the nurse's control.
