Post-Op Hip Recovery
Your hip replacement is only the beginning. What happens after you return home can shape the experience of your early recovery.
The Recovery Practice brings private post-operative nursing and concierge physical therapy directly to your home, creating one coordinated recovery experience from discharge through your transition to outpatient rehabilitation.
Your nurse. Your physical therapist. Your recovery equipment. Your plan.
All arranged in one place.

Your First Days Home, Fully Supported
Returning home after a total hip replacement can bring new challenges—from managing medications and discomfort to navigating stairs, showering safely, monitoring your incision, and regaining confidence with everyday movement.
You shouldn't have to figure it out alone.
Our Registered Nurses provide one-on-one support during the immediate post-operative period, while our Doctors of Physical Therapy guide the next phase of your recovery according to your surgeon's recommendations.
Together, we bridge the gap between hospital discharge and outpatient rehabilitation.
Concierge Physical Therapy Comes to You
When your surgeon recommends beginning physical therapy, there's no need to immediately navigate transportation and repeated trips to an outpatient clinic.
We bring the PT clinic to you.
Your therapist evaluates your mobility, strength, gait, functional limitations, and recovery goals while following your surgeon's post-operative protocol.
For total hip replacement patients, a typical early-recovery plan may include five in-home physical therapy visits.
Your exact plan is individualized based on your surgeon's recommendations, physical therapist's assessment, and recovery progress.

A Higher Standard of In-Home Rehabilitation
Your physical therapy isn't simply about completing exercises.
Our therapists can incorporate advanced hands-on techniques and rehabilitation modalities based on your individual needs, stage of healing, and surgeon's protocol.
Treatment may include manual therapy, soft-tissue techniques, scar tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance work, and progressive strengthening when clinically appropriate.
The goal is simple: restore function, regain independence, and help you confidently return to your life.
